I'm incredibly impressed with what you've done with these. I was chuffed to bits with the repaint you did on the face of my Catwoman, and it's looks like you've gone even better with the Ivy repaint. The face sculpting on the Batman makes the actual sculpt look so off when you show the comparison pic. Was it only the chin you changed? Are the eyes just painted larger or did they get some sculpting too? Again, fantastic work, and I doubt the BTAS Ivy will be better than what you've done, she looks amazing.
For Batman I re sculpted the chin and the bat ears, I didn't re sculpted anything on his eye area - this is just repainted.
I hope this helps?
Thanks, I didn't even notice the work on the bat ears, (that's how seamless it is). I seriously want to attempt the chin re-sculpt you've done when I get mine. I know your in the UK like me, so where did you pick up BTAS Batman and TNBA Ivy? Did you order them online or get them in store, as my comic shop is yet to get them in through Diamond. They never got Creeper in and I had to buy him off eBay, and I'd rather not have to do the same with other figures. Even Forbidden Planet shows them as pre orders, though I've not been to the store in London yet to see if they are on the shelves.
How are they like? I have seen some reviews of Harley and she looks quite short and her legs are way too skinny :/ She looks like they took TNBA Harley's legs and attached it to BTAS body... lol
I bought her because she looks to be in the TNBA style. They released more TNBA than BTAS right now & she blends right in. If they do release a TNBA version I won't buy it.
I hate Harley's the mask though. Just like on Batgirl, they painted it too close to the eyes. There should be a gap all the way aqround & also her eyelids should not be painted black with the mask. You'll see what I mean when you get one next month from ebay....lol
I disagree. The current Harley is clearly BTAS, based on the softer curves of the limbs, and the smaller face and eyes. TNBA has a larger face, big eyes, and sharper angles at the joints.
Having painted more Harleys than probably anybody on this board (and certainly for longer), I can say with certainty that Timmverse animated Harley's eyelids are painted black to match the mask more often than not, though they do appear both ways, depending on the art in question. (In animation, the eyelids were most often black, in print it was not as frequent. I've got multiple pre-1997 pieces hanging in this room that depict both.) Ultimately, it's a personal preference, but Clayface's empirical assessment is incorrect.
Judging from the photos to me it looks like a mash up of BTAS and TNBA! Her top part looks just like BTAS design BUT the legs are defo TNBA style (IMO) Feet are smaller and her legs shouldn't be so thin... I know Cas you are the Harley's specialist but I'm sure you can agree that her legs don't look right?
When I get mine I will try to paint her eyelids to match one if my fav picture of her

The eyelids on the figure look terrible painted black. I'm with you on the repaint. I also agree with you that she is a mash up of TNBA & BTAS. Her arms & legs are so thin. Definitely TNBA style
I was quite disappointed with Harley mainly for 2 reasons: 1. The headsculpt was uneven making her look like she is holding something in her mouth and 2. The legs and the lack of articulation in them. Another thing was the blue-ish skin like in TNBA's Harley ... anyways here is my fixup! I added articulation on her ankles using Catwoman's spare hands and repainted her face. I'm still thinking if I should make her slightly taller and her legs bulkier.
