So I went to comic con on Sunday with my friends. It was a blast as usual although I decided I am retiring my arrow costume after Halloween this year. It's just way too hot for the javitz center and the boots really aren't meant for long term wearing. In case you're wondering, the short list for comic con costumes for 2016 are Divergence Superman, John Constantine, and what will most likely happen, Golden Age Jay Garrick.
So I was looking for custom fodder as I always am looking out for. this person had a big box of figures that were marked 5 dollars each and next to it was an unmarked box of JLU figures. Well the JLU figures weren't 5 bucks each. She wanted 25 for a 9 poa Superman and that was one of the cheaper ones THe worst was the guy who wanted 50 a figure for JLU. And they wouldn't even negotiate. so of course they didn't sell anything.

Don't worry. Fodder-wise, I'm still here for you. I saw that trend at the last Con I went to. Prices seems to be getting progressively worse. Maybe it's because the Blue-Ray is coming out?
As for costumes, keeping warm seems to be my problem.

Its a common occurrence when you go to cons where dealers try to take advantage of either movies coming out or people just being naive and jack up their prices. I use to do toy shows for about 5 yrs in VA/MD/DC and I would see these trends happen when new stuff was getting released and peoples interest levels were higher looking for specific items.
Its honestly kind of odd that these people are trying to sell JLU for those kinds of prices because the stuff is a dime a damn dozen on ebay. Sounds to me like these are dealers trying to get over on people that just don't know anything and score a big sale on something they probably got as part of a lot buy out that didn't cost them jack.
