So while I've been touching-up all my custom figures the last wk or so. I came across a figure (Killer Moth) that I noticed yellow on his wings.....his colors are black and white. The wings that I used came from Wink's and they were yellow, so I just figured that the plastic started oxidizing under the putty.
Today, I started to work on my next figure (Dove) and noticed the color yellow again.....but this time, there is nothing under the putty other than the original ImagiNext figure
(hopefully you can see the yellow)
I use AVES Apoxie Sculpt (A/B) for my customs......
........has anyone else use this kind/type of putty before or know why this is happening ?
I've seen this before. It's one of 2 things going on and possibly both. The mixture wasn't kneaded well enough or one of the halves are getting old and drying out and being used.
I've only used Apoxie sculpt when a color is on clearance that is discontinued. I got a royal blue very cheap last year. So I really can't give you any advice o it.
But I use Fix it sculpt as my main apoxie. I've never had that problem & it is easier to work with than apoxie sculpt. My suggestion, start paying the bit extra to upgrade to fix it
