Debuting in November, "Batman/TMNT Adventures" will bring together the Dark Knight of the fan-favorite "Batman: The Animated Series" with the Heroes in a Half Shell of Nickelodeon's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in a story by writer Matthew K. Manning ("Beware the Batman") and artist Jon Sommariva ("Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"). Batman/TMNT are mostly culled from the contemporary TMNT side of the equation with its story being developed by Matthew K. Manning, whose body of work has included comics for both Batman and TMNT and artist Jon Sommariva, who previously worked on the comic series TMNT Amazing Adventures. Their tale depicts Gotham’s (uninsurable) collection of the criminally insane Arkham Asylum experiencing a jailbreak from enemies of Batman, who eventually make their way into New York City in the Ninja Turtles’ home turf. Of course, not satisfied to leave well enough alone and let the city’s array of other vigilantes handle that threat, Bruce Wayne concocts a surely-thin story explaining his Big Apple sojourn, where his rough handling of his recidivists as Batman eventually find him teamed up with the city’s sewer-dwelling nocturnal reptilian protectors. Batman/TMNT Adventures will be showing plenty of creepy, blank-white eyes peering from the darkness, designed to implement justice when the first of the 6-issue comic book series arrives in stores on November 9. Each issue will set you back $3.99.

I cannot wait to see how the TMNT will look in the DC Animated Universe and see them team up with the Batman Family. they really should include The Creeper in this.
