Like the title says, I recently sold this figure for $2500 dollars to a gentlemen in Texas.
I just wanted to make record of this in case anyone out there ever comes across this figure again and needs a jumping off point for the sale price of the item. I figured here is the best place for this info being that its likely the last place anyone discusses this sort of stuff pertaining to JLU figures. I don't know of any other knowledge base or wiki that deals with rare/prototype/unreleased JLU figures and I wanted to make sure the information was preserved so I posted it here.
Here's a bunch of pictures I took of the figure so that folks can also identify this figure and know what to look for if they ever have any questions about it or come across another example of it in the future. Tried to be as detail oriented as possible showing all the changes made to this new unreleased figure from the previous version.
I've looked high and low and I'm pretty sure this is the only figure of this kind. The only other orange shirt Aquamen figures I've seen are just the original ones with an orange shirt painted on them that they used for display purposes at trade shows and conventions.
Oh and one more note, the orange isn't actually this bright on the figure. My camera is kinda trash and the images saturation is a bit high. Its more in line with the orange of the actual released Super Friends Aquaman and not nearly as fluorescent as this appears.
